What is THCa, then? One of the main cannabinoids included in the cannabis, or hemp, plant is THCa, or tetrahydrocannabinolic acid. Unlike other cannabinoids, THCa only becomes psychedelic when heated through a process known as decarboxylation, rather than directly consumed.
